We were very unlucky with the weather.
We were very unlucky with the weather. Good to note that you need to get there at the crack of dawn to be able to have a good viewing spot since the place will be packed with hundreds of people hoping to spot the Himalayan range. the mornings are relatively chilly, so pack some wind proof clothes and maybe a warm drink in a thermos. The crowd (in spite of the covid situation) were just too much and there was hardly any facilities for the entrance fee they charge! Don't leave at 4 am.
Don't leave at 4 am. You ll spoil your whole day for short of sleep plus you won't find the sunrise worth the pain of bearing the cold waves on the hill top. We had to go to see tiger hill at 3 AM in the morning and we were served an awesome breakfast before that. You can also have a kitchen for yourself as it is a homestay.
