Location location, the hotel staff are amazing the lady at front desk was so helpful and friendly. Overall good value for money breakfast included and minbar that included soft drinks, sparkling and flavored waters. Use of umbrellas are provided and luggage storage.

First of all, the location of Hotel Spadari Al Duomo was unbeatable - just a few steps away from the Duomo di Milano , the Vittorio Emanuele Gallery and the most luxurious shopping streets. The staff as well , was one of the hotels strongest points - extremly friendly , proffesional and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable; they had also left a welcome letter for us and a chocolate. Italy never disappoints.

Perfect location, just a minute from Duomo cathedral! Staff vas very lovely, helpful. Clean, nicely decorated rooms with very comfortable, big bed and very soft bedding. Breakfast was wonderful, big variety of really delicous food options. Water, hygiene supplies offered every day.

The room was modern and cozy with nice lighting. You can find the needed accessories for yoga and fitness (yoga mat and different weights hanging discreetly). Strong shower water pressure and a spacy shower cabin. The location was excellent for walks in the different central directions (20 minutes walk to Duomo), and there are plenty of shops and sightseeing around. If you prefer a full breakfast and not only coffee with a cigarette or croissant on the street, then the hotel breakfast buffet is the best choice with the nicest selections of the Italian delicatessen and specialties and a wide choice of various eggs dishes with beans, bacon, salmon and other garnish

    I would recommend visiting Sforza Castle (Castello Sforzesco) for its rich history and stunning architecture. This iconic fortress, originally built in the 15th century, houses several museums and art collections, including works by Michelangelo. The surrounding park, Sempione Park, is perfect for a leisurely stroll or a picnic.

    I loved it.

    I loved it. It was more of an art museum than a castle visit. I probably spent 3-4 hours there. Lots of different types of museums within the castle. The only toilet I found was outside on the grounds

    Currently the Egyptian and Da Vinci exhibitions are closed...

    Currently the Egyptian and Da Vinci exhibitions are closed so don’t pay for entry unless the other museums interest you. All of the castle you can see is free, inside the castle is only museum spaces and you can only access the walkway around the castlations by pre booking a walking tour before you arrive. I’d say an hour wander around and through before the park was fine for most people. Don’t bother with the rest unless you are a real history student or something. Michael Angelo exhibit was one unfinished piece.

    The castle is nice from the outside, but women be warned -...

    The castle is nice from the outside, but women be warned - there are, like in so many other European cities, groups of men lingering at the entryways trying to talk you into giving them money for bits of 'lucky' string. I've seen this trick so many times, they offer to tie it around your wrist, then won't let go of your arm until you pay them (I have photos of the bruises from Paris to prove it 😞). They are incessant and claim it's for free, so I would advise you walk straight past & ignore them, even if it feels rude. I suppose the staff of the castle know about this, but perhaps corruption reigns and a few backhanders allow them to continue...
