The hotel's main advantages: Great location, all the most famous sights are within walking distance; the hotel is on a large but quiet street, good soundproofing; Wonderful staff, friendliness, helpfulness, speed and efficiency are what you find here. All your matters will be dealt with and all your requirements will be met very quickly and efficiently; The hotel is new, only opened this year, so you will find new and modern design, cleanliness, beautiful and design conscious public areas. Personal touch - in your room you will find special gifts and cards that create a personal relationship. An interesting breakfast concept that may not be to everyone's taste, but is certainly in keeping with the principles of sustainability: cold snacks are served buffet-style, while hot options can be ordered a la carte free of charge. Roof terrace with views.

Roman Forum

More palace than museum, El Prado is a true cultural treasure trove. Its hallowed halls hold one of the world’s finest collections of European art, from the fantastical figures of Bosch’s Garden of Earthly Delights to the dark, twisted beauty of Goya’s legendary Black Paintings. It needn’t cost the Earth either – in the evenings entrance is usually free.

Be prepared for a long walk. It is worth it. Make sure you have water with you, as there is very little shade, and in summer it gets very hot. The day we went, it was 40 degrees celsius. From here you can easily walk to the Coliseum, but make sure that you have prebooked tickets to both

Gone are the days of strolling through the Forum and sitting as the ancients did among the temples and spirits, remains of daily pre-modern life. But if you can take the time to get into the Forum in a quiet, personal way, it is an experience worth having. As a tourism tour, not so much. Try to enjoy ancient Rome quietly and peacefully, on your own with time and space to receive from it.

get the ticket from the coopculture.it who manage the whole site and the Colosseum. The total experience ticket is cheaper than a lot of the tickets offered by other companies and gets you access to areas that others don't including the stunning house of Olivia.

This B&B is the best of the 7 B&Bs we have stayed in Italy, the reception is very professional and welcoming, the decoration style is very stylish, the house is clean, and there is a full set of kitchen utensils and seasonings to use. The location is very good, next to the Colosseum, within 1km of the main attractions such as the Colosseum, the Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum, the bus and metro are very convenient, there is a supermarket at the door, and we were helped to check in early. All in all, it was a very good stay.

Buy the ticket for Colloseum at the enterence to Forum Romanum and Palatin, you will avoid giant line (3 attractions cost altogether 12 euro)! FAst track ticket for the VAtican Museum is also good idea (we did it), you can buy at the enterence to the St. Peter's Basilic. It is quite expensive, but it helps you to avoid huge line and to see both attractions during one day.
