A beautully appointed welcoming hotel perfectly sited to take advantage of iconic views from St Teresa Gallura to Corsica. The best position for sightseeing and walking around the old town. Family run, there appears to be no inquiry too frivolous or need, neglected. Restaurant recommendations proved superior. The room and bathroom were a good size, comfortable, plenty of hot water. Breakfast was great and local foods featured, you can boil eggs too. As a couple in their 70s from Australia travelling without a car we were extended additional courtesies and advice for which we are very grateful. The family should be commended 😍

    Only accessible by overcrowded boat tours, as the island is closed due to heavy tourism. The sand is not pink anymore, the flora is just getting back to its healthy state. It was part of our tour but overall it is not worth a trip in itself.

    Go on a skippered boat unless you are a very competent...

    Go on a skippered boat unless you are a very competent sailor. It’s quite far, the seas can change in a second and get very rough making an experienced skipper worth it. There’s lots of boat traffic too. The coastguard is very efficient if you break any rules!
