Brilliant and modern. Could not fault the hotel at all and the breakfast for $9 was awesome.

My son and I travel a lot and stay in many hotels and apartments — but this place truly stands out. First of all, the interiors: if you love the charm of tenement-style buildings blended with modern touches and exquisite design, you’ll fall in love here. The location couldn’t be more central or convenient — everything is just steps away. But as always, what makes the biggest difference is the host. Incredibly responsive, flexible, easy to communicate with, and genuinely helpful. I don’t think I’ve ever had such smooth, pleasant communication with any host before. A big plus: the modern, well-equipped kitchen, stocked with coffee, snacks, and fruit. Honestly, this place is a gem.

Amazing hotel in the heart of Bologna. Steps from piazza Majore, and all the restaurants and shopping. Extremely clean, quiet with very comfortable rooms.

Selected because the Grand Hotel Majestic belongs to the LHW(Leading Hotels in the World). I also remembered that my father in law once stayed. They helped book dinner reservation after the opera observation, showing us four candidates. Then we could easily compared between them via Internet based on the recommendation upon preference. ...It was indeed nice restaurant for cuisine, flexible of service and hospitality. They also recommended and suggested nice place to visit. But it was only quite a part of their excellent and warm hearted services. ... Another was when I forgot my wallet at the hotel room I stayed. Hotel officer called me regarding the lost within two hours. My drivers' license and cash and other Important documents were in it. ... I managed to plan returning to the hotel though the schedule was very tight. The services they made were outstanding and helped me a lot. My travel was Indeed saved. I'd recommend this hotel for good travellers visiting Bologna, in Italy, even though I myself was not a good traveler at all.

The hotel is located in a very calm area near to the center but not in the middle of it. The place is beautiful, quiet, with a lovely garden, an excellent breakfast and, in our case, "a room with a view" of the highest tower in Bolonia. Wonderful stay.
