Hotels near Poesia Cave, Torre dell'Orso

The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great position for the beach and about a 15 minute drive to visit Otranto. The apartment was clean and a pass is given to park around the hotel without paying for street parking. We visited in May and unfortunately there are not as many shops open around this time but did make for a quieter beach!

The masseria is very peaceful and beautifully decorated. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is very good as well. Would definetely visit again!

Wow what an amazing hotel ! We loved every minute of our stay. It’s a family run hotel and they were so helpful with suggestions of places to go which were fantastic. We had a wonderful view of the beach and marina and could see the sunrise from the bed!! Breakfast was excellent with everything freshly baked ! It’s only half an hour from Lecce and half an hour from Otranto. They suggested going to a swimming place called The 100 steps which was the most beautiful place where we have ever swam! They have a lovely restaurant in the hotel overlooking the sea and the service there was excellent. We have never experienced such friendly people. We had stayed in a hotel in Polignano where they were only interested in telling us about places that cost money to go to, not at all the case in Hotel Romano. We were so sad to leave . We will definitely be back as it’s in the middle of The Salento Peninsula which has amazing beaches. Our room was perfect and you could not hear any sounds from the other rooms. When they showed us the room they apologised that it was small !! It was not small, it was just perfect with a huge balcony. I can’t praise this hotel enough , just wonderful people and wonderful location.

I love this hotel! Few blocks away from the beach, hotel located centre of the village, rooms are super clean and nice! Owners are super helpful! They were very accommodating! allowed early check in and called the taxi for me when I needed it the most! Very good memories!!! I ll be coming back to this hotel for sure!:) thank you!

The breakfast was fantastic and the hotel facilities were excellent.

the installations and the infrastructure ( bright new ) breakfast amazing and the pool ..everything near most beautiful beaches ☺️
