The palace is highly impressive, historical and beautiful, but very well maintained and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They even offered to help arrange a wine tasting tour in the region. We ordered breakfast for the stay. Both the food and in room dining experiences were very nice. Everything is just perfect.

Siena Cathedral

Siena Cathedral is beautiful from the outside, but you’ve got to feast your eyes on the interior. Elaborately detailed, with a chapel by Michelangelo and floors and frescoes covered in colourful scenes, it comes together in a dizzying spectacle. Afterwards, don’t miss a trip to the Baptistery, a lovely church chock-full of elegant artwork.

    Siena cathedral is a gem.

    Siena cathedral is a gem. It is as beautiful inside as outside. I highly recommend the dome tour if you’ve a head for heights and can manage stairs. The small groups of 15 are led by a guide who will tell you a little about the history of the building during the 30 minute tour.The views of the city are spectacular from the roof . There are examples of the tools and materials used to build the cathedral as well as some of the original architects designs evident on some of the walls. To see the paintings of the dome from up close, is well worth the effort of the climb.

    We loved our welcome on arrival after a big day getting here. The nightshift guy on Thursday 28th helped us plan our next day and sent us the Google map directions to our cooking class at Castello Tricerchi, Pienza, Monte Pulciano and Bagno Vignoni. Great day. We needed to taxi to train station as too far to walk with bags. We easily walked to Piazza Del Campo and the Siena Cathedral, highly recommend a wee guided tour. Breakfast each morning was outstanding, so much to choose from. We loved everything here, including our room.

    The hotel service is helpful and efficient. Our room was very spacious with a beautiful view of Siena Cathedral. Clean bathroom with all the necessary appliances. Close to all the city's tourist attractions.

    Great location among the beauty of historic buildings and near the landmarks such as Siena Cathedral. The communication with the receptionist was amazing. She gave us a map of Siena, recommended places to go and also assisted us with calling a taxi that took us to the station.
