Perfect location, the main attractions are within walking distance. The hotel is simple, small, but very clean, average comfort level, it was well enough as we only spent the night at the hotel. Basic breakfast, the same every day, but enough sweet and salty options to choose from, for us it was good and enough to start the day. The staff was polite, kind and very helpful. Definitely recommend I would stay here again

Trevi Fountain

Much to the annoyance of his fellow gods who chose to simply materialise, Oceanus preferred to travel by cumbersome shell-shaped chariot. Constructed in 1762 at the height of the baroque, the Trevi Fountain is one of the world’s most elaborate – and romantic – fountains. The God Oceanus is the fountain’s centrepiece. Swimmers take heed: beware of the vigilant fountain police!

I saw Trevi Fountain in 1969.

I saw Trevi Fountain in 1969. Could not tell you if it changed any in the last 50 years. This time around it was a madhouse. Standing room only. Had to push and shove to get up close for a picture. It's a hotspot so be prepared for the crowds. 50 years ago you didn't have everybody trying to get a "selfie".

Try to do late in the day and just up the side street is a fantastic resturant and bar... outstanding for a relaxing cocktail. It is called Comodo! Then after a few of their cocktails go back to the fountain and see in the dusk/dark with all of the lights on before going to find a resturant to eat.

I would suggest to wake up early and arrive to the fountain around 7 am in the morning. You will still find a big crowd of people, but it would be far more pleasant and comfortable than going there later in the afternoon.

We loved it. We got there just before they closed down the site to visitors but it was very crowded. If you want another view of it, try the store across the street which has large windows to take photos of Trevi Fountain.

Absolutely overcrowded.

Absolutely overcrowded. We were there on a Friday late afternoon. Took the subway there and walked the rest of the way. We did not want to use the subway in the dark so we decided beforehand to get a taxi or uber back, however, they were charging astronomical prices as they knew we were desperate. We ended up going back by subway.

We loved our recent stay, the staff were lovely and very helpful, the location was ideal. There's a deli and ice cream shop downstairs and a supermarket 1 min away. An easy walk of about 20 mins to the Collesseum, Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. We were in the other building, opposite the hotel, but it's directly across the road so no issues. The rooms are small but that was fine for us. We could hear our neighbours sometimes but no outside noise.

The location from the apartment is really good, near by Trevi Fountain, pantheon and other touristy places. The street from the apartment has a lot of nice shops and restaurants. The apartment is big, modern and we like the interior and decoration. The communication with owner was nice, he replies quickly and clear about the location of the key and any other questions. There are a lot of things available in the apartment, like a vacuum cleaner and iron for clothes.

Basically, I liked everything about the accommodation: The friendly staff that gave us lots of useful tips right at check-in about where to go, where to eat, what to watch out for, etc. Beautiful and cozy accommodation. Excellent location within walking distance of the Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and Colosseum. The metro towards the Vatican had a stop 300 meters from the apartment. Many good and affordable restaurants in the area.

Great location. Steps from the Trevi Fountain and many shops and restaurants. 15 minutes walk to the Colloseum and Forum. 30minutes walk to the Vatican. Spacious 2 bed, 2 bath apartment. Windows opening onto all the action. Modern bathrooms. Had a small elevator to help with bags. Kitchen with most things. Everything was clean, and a daily tidy of the apartment by the hotel staff.

Rome has lots of lovely romantic spots such as the Trevi Fountain which is stunning for a romantic stroll at night time. There are lots of romantic restaurants dotted around too and if you really want to take romantic to a new level then I recommend visiting the Mirabelle restaurant - a rooftop restaurant with a terrace overlooking Rome. It is very pricey but it is stunning.
