This boutique hotel was a gift. Yes it's gorgeous, perched on the side of the mountain with stunning views and luxury accom like having your own onsen but it was the staff who really made it outstanding....Maria, Tui and everyone else were incredibly responsive and helpful...not only when due to train changes, we were 2 hours late arriving (the kitchen staff held our dinner) but also when we left a phone with our JR passes in the taxi. (which we were able to recover!!!)

Perfect location next to the train station. Bus station and bus stop to 7 Hells of Beppu is also in walking distance. Restaurants and shops/supermarket in walking distance. Onsen was very nice and clean. Breakfast fresh and tasty. Staff was very kind and professional. We used service of sending our luggage to the next hotel, which was very comfortable, reception managed everything for us, we could leave our luggage and pay fee directly at reception as well.

Beppu Daiiti Hotel is conveniently located a 1-minute walk from JR Beppu Station. Simply furnished, it offers affordable accommodation with massage services. A pay parking lot.

All staff were friendly and ready to help. The breakfast, freshly cooked, was delicious. The two ladies were so lovely. The location was great, remember not to come out where all the taxis are and it’s turn right 3-5 minutes. There’s an elevator, umbrellas and a delicious smell of hot, fresh coffee upon arrival.
