The air-conditioner worked very well to beat the summer heat. The room had a high-quality atmosphere with traditional paper windows that were surprisingly effective at blocking outside light and a fancy round table. Its a great option in Tomonoura as it is in town rather than down the road, so everything is walkable. Shuttle service from Fukuyama station is very convenient. There is a mall nearby, a traditional 50s, 60s type shopping quarter too, and Fukuyama Station itself has a lot of stores and restaurants, so you can get anything you need.
