Hotels near Gotoku-ji Temple, Tokyo

The location of this hotel was spectacular, in the heart of SHIBUYA with so many shops and restaurants in walking distance. The room’s size was pretty good , absolutely clean and cozy .. but what I liked the most about this hotel was the staff. Probably the best customer service I’ve had not only in Tokyo but in any country I’ve ever been to , the service was so good that we had another plan to change hotels after 5 days but we decided to cancel the other hotel’s reservation and extend our stay at indigo. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful and made our stay 10 times better 🙏🏻

Amazing attention to detail that made the stay even more relaxing: turndown service, delicious complementary coffee in room, welcome drink, inventive and tasty cocktails in the guest exclusive hotel bar). The immediate surrounding area was very atmospheric and had plenty to do. Recommend getting a reservation at Fuku nearby in particular- we ended up going twice! Friendly and helpful staff who helped us organise reservations, luggage transfer, and gave tips (Tsubasa's 'plan your next day whilst relaxing in the hot tub' tip deserves a special mention). We would go back in a heartbeat (and hope to one day!)

The beds were the most comfortable I’ve stayed in on 4 months of travelling!!! The location was super quiet but really close to the centre

We were a group of three adults and three children. Four of us stayed in a quad room with two double beds, while two stayed in a studio with one double bed. We stayed here for five nights. We arrived at 2:30 PM, and the staff assisted us with check-in. They kindly allowed us to access our room earlier than expected and also arranged for our rooms to be on the same floor and close to each other, which we really appreciated. The hotel provided everything you could possibly need. There was a self-service station by the elevator where guests could pick up various amenities. The toilet had buttons to open and close the lid—a great feature—along with multiple washing functions, just like most toilets in Japan. On the second floor, there were plenty of washing machines and dryers, a small gym with a ping-pong table, and a large dining area available to all guests. One evening, we used the dining area to enjoy various takeout meals together, which made for a cozy and enjoyable experience. Please note that heated brushes from countries with higher voltage than Japan cannot be used without a transformer, and it was surprising that the hotel not only had them available but also lent them out. We did not see this amenity at another hotel in Ginza. We didn’t have breakfast at the restaurant, so we can’t comment on that. We thought the hotel’s location was excellent—not right in the middle of the busiest area but still within walking distance, about 10 minutes from Shibuya Scramble Crossing.
