The customer service was excellent as it was throughout Japan. The room was comfortable and a good size and it had a great view out over the city. The hotel is close to the station and it was very easy to walk there and also to Himeji Castle. The Himeji Castle which has recently had renovations completed comes alive with samurai walking the streets of Himeji and of the paths within the castle walls. An app that can be downloaded onto your phone, shows life at it was, battles that took place at various places around the castle while you stand at the location.
