The staff are very helpful and friendly. The hotel has good facilities like luggage shipping, complimentary items and a hot/cold food shop. The bedroom was well equipped with an excellent toilet and bath. The location is great as it is next to the station.

Excellent hotel. Comfortable, clean, stylish. Fabulous view. Easy acess. The Toyosu St has an exit to the building where hotel is. Ground floor has a small mall with a covenience store, grocery store, restaurants bakery starbucks etc Had great pastries down at the bakery every morning. Restaurants are also very good and came handy when we returned to the hotel in the evenings exhausted from walking in the city. The restaurant in the hotel has a limited menu. But the food was good. Bar is lovely. Onsen is great. Clean stylish quiet. Great location for visiting the Tokyo highlights. (Ginza, Asakusa, Tsukiji Market. Etc)Tokyo Station is easy to access. But I d say returning from a late night out say from Shinjuku or Shibuya might be a little bit of work on public transport or a costly cab ride. Other than that I wouldn’t choose any other hotel. We loved everything with it.

    The hotel is located near to the Makuhari Messe convention center, providing you a quick access within 5 minutes walk to the closest hall. There is a Lawson convenience store as well as a Matsumoto Kiyoshi drugstore within the main hotel building itself. Staff were very nice and the room although abit dated is very comfortable to stay.

    Friendly and helpful staff, great location close to Makuhari Messe and Narita Expressway. Comfortable room and bed/ pillows, and well-equipped bathroom. Due to schedule unable to eat at hotel restaurants, but many options available nearby, and a convenience store. Interestingly, the room price was less than half that of a similar room two days earlier!

    An older property, but in a great location close to Makuhari Messe and the Narita Expressway. Convenient car park, with many restaurants and a convenience store just a few minutes walk down the road. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and looking forward to the hotel renewal. Due to schedule, unable to try hotel restaurants. Good sized-room, with reasonable facilities, and a comfortable bed and pillows.

    I was attending the Star Wars Celebration at Makuhari Messe. The Chiba Port Plaza hotel is in an excellent location for this, taking less than 10 minutes on the train to Kaihimmakuhari station (and the hotel is only 3mins walk from Chibaminato station). The staff were very polite and helpful, and the hotel very clean. The shower was fantastic! Good pressure and water volume.

    Loved the location. In the same “building” as Chiba JR Station. Lawson less than 50m away on the second floor and 7-11 right across the road. Large lobby on the 4th Floor. Rooms are decent and normal Japanese size hotel rooms. Clean and comfortable. Booked this place because of its proximity to Makuhari Messe Exhibiton Centre. Direct NEX to Narita in half and hour (select and specific times).

    Location of the hotel is really close to JR Kaihin Makuhari stn. It's really close to lots of eating places on both sides of the train stn. It's only about a 10 mins walk to Makuhari Messe (depending on which building you need to get to). Out of all the hotels you can pay near the station and Makuhari Messe, it is reasonably priced. The public bath is good after a whole day of standing and walking around for an event/concert.
