GermanyI booked the Superior Double Room, which was very spacious, had a great bathroom and wonderful views. The curtains can be closed electrically while sitting on the bed. The bed was very comfortable with great pillows. The room had a desk to work on with a view. The hotel has direct access to Makuhari Messe, which was important to us. Great breakfast and friendly staff all around.

The Chiba Port Plaza hotel is in an excellent location for this, taking less than 10 minutes on the train to Kaihimmakuhari station (and the hotel is only 3mins walk from Chibaminato station). Great location, not far from the Kaihimmakuhari station and other restaurants and shopping malls. There is a bus that leaves every hour for the Narita airport. Also 2 convenience store inside the building. We stay at triple room of central tower, and we could view Mt. Fuji from the window.
