The crowds were disrespectful inside the Temple, speaking loudly and taking pictures. There were a few people attempting to pray and it must have been difficult for them in the very noisy environment. It’s got it’s kitchen which you can always use. It has self check-in and check-out. You can store your luggage here before and after check in/out, but everyone can reach your stuff as it’s not closed off and no one is there to monitor it. We arrived earlier prior to 3 pm and able to check in especially under the mid day heat! We got off at Nara station and took bus 14 to the house, it was about 10 minute walk from the bus station crossing the overpath. The house was nice, authentic Japanese house with Tatami floor beds and air conditioner. The kitchen and amenities were nice and useful. Nara park and Todai-ji temple were beautiful and tranquil. We used one of the hand towel as wet towel and "neck cooler" to cope with the summer heat.Guest review byKimCanada
