SwitzerlandI absolutely loved this small hotel! It’s simple, but its location right by the beach makes it truly special. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying the ocean view was amazing. The atmosphere was peaceful, and our host Sashi was so friendly and welcoming.
Every day, we were treated to a different delicious breakfast, which made our stay even more special. Plus, we could always count on Sashi for help—such a kind and attentive person! This hotel is a true hidden gem by the beach. Highly recommended! :)

NetherlandsThe hospitality and friendliness of the staff is just perfect! The food is great too. We started our holiday here and it was great to recover from the flight, you can also go for trips, we went to the Brief Gardens which was great, but there is more to explore, so you can definitely stay longer here.

HungaryEverything was amazing. Started with the early check in (it was a huge help for us after a full day trip). The restaurant (Palm) is very good, with good prices (curry 1500 LKR, huge seafood mix plate for 2: 7500 LKR). We tasted a lot of types of fruit juice, curry, crab, fish, lobster, everything was tasty and fresh. For the breakfast (7:30-9:30) we had 3 different options: local with fruits and sweet joghurt, continental with omlett, bacon and sri lanka style with curry and rice. The swimming pool is clean, the garden is amazing. The massage was also good. The staff was very nice.

Just being there was a dream come true! The staff is exceptional, very thoughtful and well mannered. The small touches like the happy hour where they serve home infused gin and tonic ( Bawa’s favourite) by the Lunuganga is an experience in itself. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful, organizing for us a river safari and a Tuk Tuk for our tour of Lunuganga and the Brief Garden. Harinda, the guide who offered the river safari, is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about the mangrove, and its the flora and fauna. We thoroughly enjoyed the safari.
