We had an excellent experience staying here. We were welcomed by a kind, patient and extremely helpful host who arranged tours, tuk tuks, and inter city transportation for us. The room was spotless and the property itself was peaceful, quiet, and tucked away in a beautiful garden. The included breakfast in the morning was delicious and generous. I would highly recommend this place to anyone planning a stay in the area.

Perfect place!!! The cabanas are spacious and very clean with the best shower we had in Sri Lanka. The pool is clean and large and a bonus for hot hours, we were with children who really enjoyed it. The host, Gamani, is so kind, helpful and friendly. We couldn't ask for a better place than this.

Great brand new hotel with spacious rooms and a nice pool to cool down after climbing up the rocks. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful, they gave us advice on where to eat/drink and arranged transportation at a very reasonable price. The breakfast is excellent, you cannot eat it all. We were served fruits and freshly squeezed fruit juice, then omelette and next pancakes/local specialty halaba. Also, if you go up the road leading to the hotel you’ll see the fields and a nice lake, perfect location when you’d like to get a break from the tourist crowds

Lovely stay by all means. Room was very pleasant, clean, bathroom as well. Breakfact included in the price was very testy, so as other food in the restaurant (and reasonably priced). Staff was helpful. We loved the pool - very clean and lovely located in the garden, especially appealing after walking up Lions Rock in the heat.

    I can’t recommend this place for elders and disabled.if you are climbing lover,well.very difficult to reach top,it was so dangerous way.I can not see management of this place have considered about visitors.

    Very very nice.

    Very very nice. I went there by bike and did the " hike" then. The view is beautiful I did't wanted to leave. There where a few other people ( 9 am) but it was far from crowded. The path is coverd by trees but still u will sweat. I am a serious bad climper but I Managed the last Part easily. Highly recommended. The entrancfee is 1000 slr now.

    The hotel is very beautiful, exactly as shown in the photos. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. The staff were extremely friendly. The pool was large and very beautiful. The hotel is only a few minutes away by tuk-tuk or car from Lion Rock and Pidurangala Rock.

    Very nice view of the Sigiriya Rock and spacious balcony + working area. It is very interesting to find a Japanese run hotel along the village of Sigiriya. Welcome drink is served, as well very abundant breakfast. The room is very spacious too with outdoor balcony. Love the Japanese toilet :) location near to Pidurangala Rock, best sunset view in Sri Lanka

    We all loved the scrumptious breakfasts served every morning. In fact the plate service was delicious, but too much! The breakfast service was excellent. We also took our evening meals at the hotel. The chef is a master at his trade. Good quaality food prepared with excellence and care. Thank you for the lovely rice and curry! We'll come back for it. The rooms were lovely with an airy balcony where one can sit and watch both the Sigiriya and Pidurangala rocks in the distance across the fields. A beautiful sight.

    This hostel is run by a very lovely and young couple. They make you feel at home, very caring. Bug and spacious toilet and bathroom. Has hot water. Has toilet paper, towel provided upon asking. Had AC & fan. They’ve a restaurant at the front of the hostel so no restaurant hunting. They’ve cooking classes. 45mins walk to the Pidurangala Rock. The owner can drop and pick you to the Pidurangala Rock if need be.

    Beautiful hotel near the entrance to the rock. Good buffet breakfast and dinner. Lovely, clean rooms. Staff were very friendly. There are loads of bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Sigiriya has a really cool, laid back vibe to it. Worth a visit whether you're climbing Lion Rock or Pidurangala Rock just a place to chill for a couple of days.

    The property is secluded, but within walking distance of nearby restaurants. Despite our late arrival, the owner helped arrange a morning trip to Pidurangala Rock to watch the sunrise, followed by a safari. The breakfast was excellent (one of the best we had during our stay in Sri Lanka). The place was amazing—we extended our stay for another night.

    The BEST accommodation we had in Sri Lanka so far! Very clean and cozy, there is everything you need. The hosts are extremely helpful and kind. Exceptional breakfast and meal in general. You can order a cooking class here as well! Very close to the Lion’s Rock and Pidurangala rock. Nice local restaurants and shops nearby.

    The hotel is new, so the room was very nice and clean. There is a terrace with a beautiful view of Lion’s Rock, where a tasty breakfast is served. The location is perfect, there are many restaurants nearby, and it’s quite close to the entrance to Lion’s Rock. The staff were very friendly and arranged a tuk-tuk for us early in the morning, as we wanted to climb Pidurangala Rock for the sunrise.

    Very clean modern room, great aircon and pool. Bernard the hotel manager was amazing, extremely helpful and organised all our transfers to and from Sigiriya as well as Tuk tuk trips to dinner, lion rock and Pidurangala rock. All the pricing was very fair and he was highly organised and professional, great job Bernard!

    We loved this hotel! We stayed in the little tree house as it was the only room left! However, we loved it! It was our favourite hotel in Sri Lanka. The location is perfect and a short tuk tuk ride from Sigiriya and Pidurangala rock.
