Kumara and his wife took really good care of us. Their place really is hidden in a lovely garden, with a nice pattio and hammocks under palm trees. The most special thing about this place is the food: it is organic and local (from the garden or the neighbours). Everyday you can try something else. The hosts offer cooking classes in a traditional mud hut. Additionaly Kumara showed us a lot of places: Rigitale Mountain, Sigiriya, Dambulla, but also some batik, jewelry and spice shops.

Located within a minute walk from Palugaswewa railway station and 4.3 km from Habarana Lake, Bissa Villa offers a private lodge with air conditioning and mosquito net.

Very lovely place in an unique and calm and naturally surrounding. We enjoyed the monkeys in the middle of this place a lot. The owners are super lovely, they took care about all guests & the place, we felt so much love there! Also the food was very good & lovely prepared. We can definitely recommend this place!

What a unique and beautiful place. You have to take some time to get there because it is so calm and natural after all the other places. I am so grateful to get a week of ayurvedic treatment here. The people here are exceptional. Predipa gave the very best massage treatments followed by a blissful steam bath with fresh herbs. The food was the very best in Sri Lanka made with dedication and refinement by Nuwan. Each time a discovery of vegetables, spices and flavours. The lady of the place Nishanthi is so friendly and and wonderful person . I will definitely come back. There is a real sense of renewal after this week.

Gabaa Resort was the perfect escape for all travelers . The staff was welcoming, and the surroundings were peaceful. The room was clean and comfortable, providing a great place to unwind. Despite my short stay, I enjoyed every moment and felt rejuvenated. Highly recommend for a quick, refreshing getaway.

Open- minded & inspiring & really helpfull host! Nice surronding, delicious food. It was nice experience living next to the wildlife. There were additional convenience- jaccuzi and swimming pool.
