The hotel conditions are good for its category. The issue with electricity has been perfectly resolved, there is always hot water, free drinking water, delicious food in the rooftop bar, and a convenient location. The staff is excellent, always ready to help with any question. Very warm, friendly atmosphere for every guest.

This hill has unparalleled views across Mandalay. It’s a picturesque trek up the southern side, passing through an array of pagodas – where you’ll have to take your shoes off.     Mandalay (and the rest of Myanmar) is still fairly unknown to Western tourists. However, avoid visiting the Royal Palace: it's not worth the money nor the walk. Visit Mandalay hill and the famous U Bein bridge, stroll down the streets and have a look downtown at the hustle and bustle of Mandalay's 'shopping centre'. Insane! Taxi's are really cheap but you can also rent bikes to get around town. Watch out for the crazy traffic though.
