Really central, but felt calm and quiet. A beautiful modern room with a comfortable bed and well appointed bathroom. Super friendly staff who provided a page of helpful restaurant suggestions divided by area of Amsterdam but were happy to suggest others based on special requests (I wanted to try typical Dutch food)

It was our third visit to Amsterdam and this time we split out stay in 3 places as we love trying different hotels experiences. Definitely I can Hotel Jakarta and would return. It is such happy, light atmosphere and the staff makes you feel welcome. Breakfast is delicious with fresh juices and pastries, pool is relaxing after a day riding bikes and walking in the city. The view from our room was lovely and the bed was absolutely 10/10.

    PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT VISIT.

PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT VISIT. My husband and I stopped by here on our way to the resistance museum and only stopped here about 30 minutes. It made me cry and it upset us both so much, these beautiful animals either in cages, not looking that well kept and not much room to move around. I absolutely hated it and wouldn't encourage anyone to visit here.
