Location was nice. We were upgraded to one of the deluxe outside units where we could park right outside. Rooms did have a funny smell but could have been the sulfur in the air. Room and bathroom were clean. Beds were comfy. Great value for money. Would definitely stay here again.

    Very private and quiet. The outdoor hot tub was a nice addition. Also just a 10 min walk to Te Puia where we witnessed the tallest erupting geyser in the Southern Hemisphere.

    We stayed here for 4 nights and it was a perfect base to visit Waitomo Glowworm, Hobbiton, Redwoods at the Whakarewarewa Forest. We also visited Te Puia, a cultural/geyser center. The room was nice, quite spacious and clean. The playground and animals were nice additions when you are travelling with little kids.
