The hotel has an amazing atmosphere and design. The yard with the garden is astounding, such as the rooftop pool. The room was spacious, with free beverages. The location of the hotel is great, in the heart of the Casco Viejo.

For my birthday celebration, I chose to indulge in the enchanting ambiance of Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo, and what a remarkable decision it was. Nestled within the historic charm of Panama City's Casco Viejo, this hotel effortlessly intertwines old-world allure with contemporary luxury. The check-in process was seamless, with a personal touch that instantly made us feel valued. The birthday celebration surpassed all expectations. The hotel's culinary offerings were a culinary delight. We savored a gourmet dinner at one of the hotel's restaurants, where each dish was meticulously crafted with local ingredients and international flair. The personalized birthday dessert was a delightful surprise, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The highlight of our stay was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They anticipated our every need and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. Whether arranging special excursions around Panama City or offering insider tips on the best local experiences, their dedication was truly remarkable. Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo's amenities are tailored for indulgence. We pampered ourselves at the spa, where expert therapists delivered rejuvenating treatments amid a serene atmosphere. The rooftop pool offered a tranquil oasis with panoramic views, perfect for relaxing and toasting to another year. Oh, I absolutely loved the SpeakEasy room!! Thank you sooo much. I will be back!

Very pretty, clean and comfortable hotel. Very responsive and attentive service, great beds (big and firm), good quality everything. Even air conditioning did not blow on the bed, there was water and Nespresso machine in the room etc.

This hotel is brand new, renovated on a restored building in the Casco area of Panama city. The location is amazing, on a quite square, but a minute walk from all the restaurants and attractions of the area. Stayed as a family in a big room, two floors, two bathrooms, huge balcony with a view. Facilities are elegant and beautiful. Breakfast is delicious, with free choice from an a-la-carte menu. Would definitely return here.

Excellent choice as an option in Panama City. Very close to ferrys to Taboga (10min walking range), plenty of restaurants nearby (fast-food or mid-range close by, nice seafood and all options 10min walk on Flamenco island, depending on your taste). Very confortable beds, super nice and helpful staff (helped in sharing their own wifi connexion, granted special discounted rates during second stay although week-end rates were higher, etc), huge rooms with huge beds (king or 2 queens), large shower with plenty of hot water... Sea side is nice (view on marina across the street). Nice balcony to sip a cold beer in the evening. Breakfeast was simple but welcomed (eggs, bacon cheese toasts/sandwiches, industrial juice, hot drinks, nice staff... prepared take away snacks in advance outside of regular service hours to go to San Blas at 5am, much appreciated). If you're going to Taboga, this is a great option to be on the spot in the morning. Even if you want so stay. Rates are expensive on the island, and you can easily go from from here for the sam eprice and a better confort. Even for the city, it makes an excellent option, quiet and nice area, few cars, super safe, plenty of food options, nice for city view, great with seside, and very accessible even if it seems far away at the end of the causeway (5$ taxi from allbrook, direct bus 20min for 0.25$ busC850 direct to allbrook metro station stairs, and terminal with walkway, very convenient to go anywhere in the city !). Franckly, forget about Casco Viejo, and its overprices restaurants for tourists and come see real Panama cool evening life there. (both salsa club for the clubbers in need of music and dance, plenty of quiet places for the others). Walk 10min to the Flamenci marina (where Taboga express is) to enjoy KYUCO* restaurant (popular, nice prices, great location) or adjacent Fisheria, more gastronomic and pricy. Large duty free shop opposite side.
