The service was amazing. Breakfast delicious with delux variation of food fruits sweets cheeses etc. Beautiful calm property with long history. Location quiet still few minutes to the center. Swimming pool by the bar..evening sun. Lovely. Definitely back. Strong recommendation for couples.

From the minute we arrived to the minute we left the staff were all pleasant, helpful and informative, especially Joao. The room was extremely clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast was superb, lots of choice and good ingredients. We have stayed in 5 star hotels that do not come anywhere near our experience when staying at Don Rodrigues. A big shout out to all the staff, you're doing a great job Thank you

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Everything was just as described. The staff were friendly, both at reception and in the bars. Our room was a good size, with effective air conditioning and a comfortable bed. The shower had strong water pressure, which was great. The location was also convenient—within walking distance to town and close to local attractions.

Albacora across from Tavira island was such a relaxing spot, the spacious pool area with big warmish pool, then the location with beautiful estuary on your doorstep and quick boat trip over to a stunning wide beach with beach bars and lidos. Very clean and well equipped room, excellent breakfast and friendly helpful staff. We wish we had stayed longer, truly! The town of Tavira is so lovely too. We were sad to go.

It's a lovely little place so well kept, plenty of eatery's...

It's a lovely little place so well kept, plenty of eatery's and great selection 😍😍 friendly and welcoming, good variety of shops and useful bus station to get around areas further away, there's a ferry boat that takes you to the beach island it's two fifty each way about fifteen mins,good day out doint forget sun cream 🤩🤪😁it has a selection of food and drink areas or take a picnic with you to save you money.😍 recommend tavira it's less touristy and only forty mins from faro you can catch a local train at airport direct to tavira 😀.

Praia do Barril is fantastic! Great nudist beach.

Praia do Barril is fantastic! Great nudist beach. Be sure to try the access point by tourist train to the beach from Pedras del Rei. There's a bus from Tavira bus station to Pedras del Rei, but only on weekdays. Getting a Bolt drive to take you there is also an option. Loved it.

Very clean, they are well taking care of their facilities. Close to two very attractive beaches on the Island of Tavira and the Island Estreita with comfortable transfers even in September. Lovely pool with very comfortable chairs. Nice activities planned out for the guest (for children and adults). Half board service enjoyed very much (the quality of the food excellent).
