The staff were the best! Always friendly, positive, and could also speak English, which made it a seamless, excellent stay. Shower was fantastic, breakfast selection large and delicious, room a good size. TV was also good - admittedly limited English language channels but at least some! WiFi good. Recommend!

Situated on Victory Square, next to the Bab el Bhar gate, which marks the entrance to the Medina, or the historic, cultural, and traditional heartbeat of the city of Tunis, this former British Embassy building with its monumental architecture and sheer scale evokes the era of great prosperity and unbridled luxury. Never in my life have I seen such a lavishly decorated bathroom! You could off its floor; that is how squeaky clean it is. The hotel’s charming restaurant offers a vast variety of tasty breakfast options, and the staff are especially cooperative and respectful, without taking the smiles off their faces.
