The staff were very friendly upon arrival and for the duration of our stay. The room was very well equipped with all amenities you could think of. Balcony was a bonus! The bed was extremely comfortable, and the aircon was on point. Cantonese restaurant was good, although a few dishes were forgotten about, but the male waiter was very young and apologised for his mistake. Food was tasty and decent portions, although a little pricey.

Location and proximity to city centre and local restaurants and a cycle ride to Arping. Room superb.

This boutique hotel has very tasteful interior design. We booked a room with vinyl player, we get to rent vinyl for free from the lobby. There are also film cameras to rent at the lobby too. Staff were very helpful with the vinyl rental arrangement! They have great facilities too. They have a thoughtfully curated library (books are mainly in mandarin). There are also well equipped kitchen and a communal dining area. They even have an arcade room! There are two washing machines and two dryer, great for those who stays long and need to do laundry The breakfast provided is at a restaurant at top floor, which has modern retro design. They provide wide variety of local food at the breakfast bar, which we enjoyed a lot! Provintia Hotel even created a newspaper, book and booklet that introduce attractions or food in Tainan city. They don’t have to do that, but they put in the effort to give the extra touch that elevates the stay. The Provintia Hotel team has done a good job! From design, to hospitality, branding, to even collaborating with the local community for special event. Please keep it up, needless to say, I will come back to stay in Provintia Hotel if I’m ever in Tainan again.
