The perfect place to stay in Stone Town. Amazing hospitality, gorgeous rooms, and a delicious breakfast.

The rooms are stunning- spacious and beautiful design. The bed was very comfortable too. The bathtub in the room was a very nice touch. The staff were amazing, always polite and friendly. The restaurant could also accommodate my gluten-free diet for breakfast. This was one of our best hotel experiences ever.

What an absolute gorgeous gem of a hotel in Stone Town. Truly authentic building and decor and incredible bedrooms. I stayed in the ‘Kate’ room which was utterly delightful. Beautiful private terrace overlooking the town, enormous bedroom (beautifully decorated) and an open-air bathtub adjoining. Super private. Gorgeous to wake up in the morning and open the doors and feel the breeze filter through. Beautiful bed linen and towels (woven locally) and handmade soaps. If you are into aesthetics, then this is the place for you. I can’t say enough to rate the hotel. All the staff were absolutely delightful and super attentive (as a single female traveller it was very much appreciated). The Manager was extremely kind and friendly. Also organised a fantastic private tour of the town for me which was brilliant. The rooftop restaurant is to die for. The best, authentic and freshest of food I have ever eaten.The taster plate experience with sunset and cocktails was dreamy. Amazing views and ambiance. Didn’t want it to end! The Secret Garden restaurant is also absolutely worth a visit. I attended on a Friday evening when there was live music being performed. Truly magical. Again, the food was just amazing and the staff all super kind.

This hotel represents the highest quality. Everything is new and well maintained. The villas are spacious and beautifully designed. Still, what makes it really special is the service and people that take care of you there. Thanks to their approach you can really enjoy the holiday knowing that they will remember not only your name but also your individual needs like for example diet. Here I would like to mention our individual assistant Beno who was the perfect organizer of our stay at this hotel. Thanks to him I feel we used every hour of our stay and tried everything we wanted. I recommend this place to everybody who wants to rest away from the crowds.

Fabulous location close to main road, and a short walk along busy promenade area to fabulous restaurant. Follow the main road round to a few lovely jewellery shops and small craft shops. Explore the side streets and see the old buildings. Hotel had a nice coffee area adjoining the hotel. Swimming pool was amazing with beautiful sofas to lounge on in the shade! Staff were super friendly and very helpful. Room was ready on arrival and they accommodated our very early morning checkout. Fabulous fresh Zanzibar coffee at breakfast, and help yourself to as many cups as you wished. A super hotel for a night or 2 in Stone Town!
