There’s a small but very inviting pool, perfect for a refreshing dip after a day of exploring Key West. Check-in and breakfast take place across the street at Silver Palms Inn. Breakfast was nothing special though. The location is excellent: central yet quiet at night. Just a 10-minute walk to Duval Street and about 30 minutes to Mallory Square. It also had air conditioning and an overhead fan. The hotel is at the quieter end of Duval street, but it is an easy walk to the higher energy of Mallory square and the various bars and night life. The best way to watch the sunset in Key West is either to go out on an organised catamaran trip, OR go towards Mallory Square but instead of heading to the very front where the restaurant is and standing with everyone, go to the docks where there are a number of benches facing the sunset. These are often empty (Surprisingly) and there isn't the noise from a "Cat performer" that there is in mallory square.
