The hotel is fairly new. It’s very comfortable. Super spacious rooms, good beds, good bathroom, very very clean. Location wise if you have a car, which is a must in Orlando, you can get anywhere. Parking free of charge available. The service is beyond excellent. The staff at the front desk, especially Tina, is so professional, service oriented and kind. The manager immediately gets involved when necessary. I had a strange sound in my room the second day. When reported they immediately took action and came, together with the manager, to my room to check. The changed my room, offered help to move my stuff and offered a late check out till 3 pm and lots of apologies. This is the definition of good service. They know what hospitality means. Very reasonable price and excellent value for money too. I highly recommend this hotel. Best hotel so far during my trip in Florida.

The location was excellent for visiting the Universal parks, as is also for visiting Orlando itself as it’s very central to everything.Upon arrival and parking the car ( plenty of onsite Parking $18per day.) The staff were amazing!! from the moment we arrived to the day we departed. Rooms were spacious and very clean, towels and beds only changed every other day which is quite common nowadays. Breakfast was good but repetitive ( you would not go hungry though) ice machines on every other floor which is a must. Pool area was excellent as a nice place to top up the Tan and relax after the visit to the parks. Ticket office in the hotel so able to pre book for the Universal Parks as this also comes with a shuttle bus too and from the park at certain times. Within walking distance of the hotel is some bars and restaurants with a small store ( Walgreeves)

We had the best time at Universal.

We had the best time at Universal. We loved the app, which allowed us to see what wait times were for rides and navigate throughout the park. You can also use the app to order food in the parks. We enjoyed all of the rides that we got on. Make sure to wear good walking shoes and take a poncho and/or umbrella if you're going while it's raining, since it rains on and off a lot in Florida. It definitely did not stop our trip, though. Some rides may be delayed due to the rain but they usually start back up once the rain stops for a while. Best trip ever.

Being from Australia, I always thought that Florida was warm, but around Christmas time, it is chilly. I enjoyed a fabulous trip here with my son, my daughter-in-law and granddaughter. Everything was great, including the onsite resort, the theme park, restaurant and shops. A very enjoyable trip, which I will long remember.

Plan on a full day in each park.most rides have an hour or longer que. so plan on 1 hour for each ride( at the minimum) . Google Easter eggs in park, it is fun looking for them. IE, the troll under the bridge by Mythos , or Dr. Suess in Suess Landing . The characters are only out in afternoon , so plan them accordingly. If going during Mardi Gras, 1. dress the part. 2. buy the food card, great savings

Universal Orlando has become our families annual destination...

Universal Orlando has become our families annual destination. We recommend staying on property and purchasing annual passes versus daily passes. You will save money on merchandise, food, parking and some restaurants in City Walk, if you plan to spend multiple days in the parks.

To many people, spent $300 for two people to get in .road three rides waited two hours to ride King Kong it lasted 6 min it sucked. Harry Potter was good .nothing but shops to spend money . Waited in line hour and 15 for a pizza.will never go back.

Location was perfect for the Universal Studios Orlando. They have a free shuttle going to and forth all four theme parks which was very helpful to tourists and nondrivers like us. Highly recommended! The receptionist was also very kind to upgrade us to a room with a good-looking view. Beds were very comfortable as well. You can see EPIC Universe and the fireworks at Disneyworld from afar.
