The hotel was absolutely amazing - the room was the most spacious I’ve stayed in while in Hanoi. The air condition works well, great water pressure, super comfortable beds, free drinking water in the rooms, and a great breakfast. The service and staff are stand out! Specifically, Ms. Mai, she helped us book a Ha Long Bay tour and it was much easier and cheaper than doing it myself. I highly recommend staying here, you will have the best and easiest trip.

This is an elegant building to see in passing but not worth making a special journey to unless you intend watching a performance there. There are equally elegant if smaller buildings especially in the French Quarter to see of all ages and degrees of shabbiness. Remember when walking around the old quarter of Hanoi to look up as you are avoiding getting run over, to see the real Hanoi above the street level and marvel at the styles, building hot-potch and evidence of former if unregulated buildings and wonder how they manage to stay up.
