The swimming pool is simply amazing! the views were great and staff was incredible, specially Rebecca. We let her choose the cocktails for us and she made THE best ones, had great laughs with her, she’s a star. Room was comfortable and breakfast was very tasty :)

The peacefull surroundings, excellent service

It truly is a 5 star glamming experience in every way! You can opt for self catering and the provision for that is outstanding - or do what we did, used the restaurant on site. They will also bring the restaurant to your tent and you just order from the menu! Every evening there was a full turn down service so that your tent was warm and cosy and heating, including electric blankets supplied. Our stay was in August so chilly at night. Our tent was in front of the river and every evening we lit a fire and gazed at the stunning night sky. An absolutely clear sky and we could switch off the main light switch to facilitate this. Though remote we had excellent wifi facilities. The staff were superb hosts and made sure every expectation of our stay was met and more. When we received our joining instructions and realised our little car would struggle with the road to Mbizane, a member of staff gave us secure parking at her home and took us to the site with all our luggage. We really appreciated this as the road is challenging. However, with the option to get a lift on a 4x4 vehicle this was no longer a problem.

It was a unique experience that warms our hearts when we think about it. The amazing owners, who took such good care of us, can tell you a lot about the place and how they built and developed it. Our room with its high ceiling, stained-glass windows, and decorations gives you a sense of a bygone era. The meals exceeded our expectations, made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. In the evening, we sat outside near the fireplace, gazing at the stars. I have a fondness for stargazing, and this place provides an excellent opportunity to see the Milky Way. I highly recommend asking the owners to show you the mysterious circles in the fields, which are just a 20-minute walk or a 5-minute drive away. Additionally, if I could give myself a piece of advice before planning my stay, I would suggest not wasting time on tourist attractions but rather taking a leisurely walk around the property and perhaps driving no more than 20 minutes around the area – the picturesque views can surpass many recommended sightseeing spots!
