The spa is refreshing and relaxing, offering beautiful views — a perfect way to unwind. The food exceeded expectations with a great variety, excellent quality, and delicious flavors. We also enjoyed the stunning wildlife views from the pool area, which made the experience even more special. The room was very comfortable and well-appointed. Overall, a vibrant and memorable place to stay.

Very close to a Kruger park gate. Very safe area. Wonderful little studio with a very comfy bed. No loadshedding at all since they have an electric generator. Friendly staff ! And super little price for that nice place.

Umkumbe Safari Lodge is a great place to stay if you are looking cut yourself off from the hustle bustle of the city life and spend a couple of nights away from civilization. It is right there admist the wild with very little access to the internet. The game drives provided by the guides & trackers are very informative and they try their best to get you a close view of the Big 5. It is absolutely safe and you will love your experience of the wild with Umkumbe Safari Lodge. They clean the room and prepare your bed twice a day which is awesome.

The location is unbelievable, overlooking the Sabie River with a great view of Hippos everyday. Our Safari Guide Mishack went over and above to make sure we saw The Big 5 and his knowledge and ability was second to none. JJ and Thomas were great hosts for our breakfast, lunch and dinner. There was nothing they couldn't do for you.
