    For the foodies - you are just spoilt for choice with...

    For the foodies - you are just spoilt for choice with incredible restaurants all over the town. Beautiful vineyards, exquisite wine farms, you need a month to really see and do it all! Recommendations: hire e bikes and go for a ride. Jonkershoek reserve is magnificent. Incredible restaurants: Fat Butcher, Asta, Vendetta to name a few. Wonderful stores and everything so conveniently located.

    With over 150 wineries, Stellenbosch is the premier location of the Cape Winelands. Our guide showed up a bit of the city. We saw the local university and the dining areas. We'd like to stay in the city on our next visit.

    The rooms were very clean and up to standard. The staff was very good and did their very best to help with whatever was asked and at all hours. Adrian was exceptional and I would like to express my sinsere gratitude torwards him. The hotel is very central for Stellenbosch and the city center with all the restaurants and the shops can be reached within 5min of walking. Looking forward to our next stay there

    I did not actually stay at Protea Hotel Stellenbosch. They experienced a geyser burst the previous evening and my room wasn't going to be ready on the day of check in. They did contact me early the day of check in to explain the situation. They arrange alternative accommodation which was excellent. Ill give them 10 out of 10 for crises management

    Well located in the center of Stellenbosch. We stayed one night at the self catering apartment a few minutes walk from the hotel. There was a private security guard during the night, even though the neighbourhood seemed very quiet and safe. We could have stayed longer!
