Surrounded by nature, with all it’s sounds and smells to trigger all ones senses was truly out of this world The lovely trails nearby are breathtaking and there are wonders everywhere to be seen Views of the amazing landscapes and animals, reptiles and birds galore are vast and everlasting Breakfast with humming birds and toucans was a memory to never be forgotten but be warned 🫣 the steep roads will be very hard going on the way back in the heat to some 🥵

this was our favourite stay in our 2 weeks in Costa Rica. Everything felt brand new and the communication with the host was very easy. The outdoor area, the outdoor shower, the perfect room with the tiny kitchen area plus a work desk - we loved it all!

Amazing place to stay! We had two nights and saw so much wildlife - sitting on our deck overlooking the pond we spent ages watching huge iguanas in the trees, loads of birds and even a Basilisk Lizard running across the water! The safari tents are really comfortable - fab beds, proper hot showers and plenty of space. I had a bit of a concern about the amount of creepy crawlies we might have in/around the tents but the mesh netting kept everything out (we saw plenty of insect life on the trails but nothing in or around the tents!). The big communal deck is also fab - the first night there was a huge storm and we sat having dinner while the thunder and lightning raged around us and bats flew round overhead - a really magical experience. The food was excellent and there was plenty of it. The pool and waterslide were a big hit with the kids too!

The location is beautiful, set up high, and surrounded by outstanding scenery. The bird life is stunning. The staff were warm and welcoming, always ready to share their knowledge of the area. Every meal was fresh and delicious, using local produce. Our accommodation was in a garden setting, very serene. It felt like a retreat, very quiet, except for nature. If you're using your own transportation, a 4-wheel drive is necessary as it is a gravel road to the lodge. Highly recommended.

We spend a wonderful time in Santa Juana Lodge, the spot is amazing, the Staff great!. We did the two Santa Juana tours . The birds watching was private and the best we’have done so far in Costa Rica.

Amazing view! Eten was heel lekker! We overleefden de ‘bumpy’ road. Was wel een uitdaging. Lodge is fantastisch!
