A Magical Stay in Eastern Bali We had an incredible stay at Villa Mayu, a true haven of peace nestled in the lush nature of Jasri, East Bali. The villa features a beautiful terraced garden by the river and a refreshing pool — a perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature. The atmosphere is deeply Balinese, with soothing massages and traditional offering ceremonies that added a spiritual touch to our stay. Our host, Made, was absolutely amazing — incredibly dedicated, kind, and professional. He went above and beyond to show us the hidden treasures of East Bali: breathtaking temples, stunning rice terraces, the oldest village on the island, beautiful local beaches, and some of the best authentic restaurants we've ever tried. A truly unforgettable experience — we highly recommend Villa Mayu for anyone looking to discover the more peaceful and authentic side of Bali.

• Excellent location surrounded by rice fields • Great country-side wooden villa with decent sound insulation (better than others). • Swimming pool is well designed for kids and adults and the property is very well maintained. • Since this is a good country-side property, it is very remote to other town areas. Everything you need is maybe 10-15 mins away by car from the property but the hosts are very supportive and can arrange anything you need. • Property owner and staff were very very friendly. The owner was kind enough to show us around himself along with his staff and his personal attention to guests is commendable and our check-in experience was excellent. • Since the property was far away from our driver's home, the owner and staff were kind enough to offer stay to our driver at very nominal charge. • We prefer Vegetarian food. Rere & Wayan helped us with everything in their power to arrange the ingredients needed to cook that and enjoyed food with us. • Even though the property is right in the heart of rice fields, the cleanliness and hygiene was so good that I haven't encountered a single mosquito even outside in the dining area. • We got the room on the first floor and the view from above is much better. • Internet and WiFi connectivity was great and Netflix was pre-logged in by staff to enjoy TV. • They provided 2 small water bottles per day per room which is standard or better across Bali. • The property is very peaceful and silent and there were no loud speaker noises or roosters to be heard in the morning.

An absolute gem of a find! Beautifully decorated, extremely kind owner and welcome, and what a view! Rare to find such gem! Additional bonus was great menu from nearby Mexican restaurant with some exceptionally good food choices (beyond just local cuisine). One of the most magical dreamy stay, but PLESE be aware that there are no closed windows, so you are very much 'one with the nature'

The accommodation has a unique design and location is fantastic! We had a very relaxing stay, because of the very calm environment and the host 'Nyoman' made our stay very convenient. He organized a scooter while we were in his premises and a transport to get to our next accommodation. Highly recommended!!! 💫🌈
