The hotel is very closed to the Tangram ski resort. You may walk to the chairlift. Also, they have shuttle services to the lobby as well, which is very convenient for carrying a lot of ski equipment.

Even so I stayed only one night, I felt felt really welcomed from the first step in the Hotel. The owner was very friendly and warm. They cooked a very good dinner for me. After a perfect and silent night in the very cozy bed. I enjoyed a great breakfast before I was driven by car to the bus station by the owner. I can absolutely recommend this place.

One of the standout features of Alp Bach Madarao is the incredible dining experience. The meals were nothing short of spectacular, featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients prepared to perfection. Each dish was a delightful blend of traditional Japanese flavors and international influences, making every bite a memorable moment. The staff deserves special mention for their exceptional service. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was flawless, offering personalized recommendations, arranging activities, and always greeting us with genuine smiles. It’s the kind of place that leaves you already planning your return as you reluctantly say goodbye.

Breakfast was yum. The location is awesome, specially for winters. Had an amazing stay here. The hosts are great too.

The location is fantastic, a 2 min walk from the ski fields. There is a very homey atmosphere and the owners made us feel at home.

Great location, easy walk to ski slopes, restaurants and a private onsen. Cosy and comfortable and loved the community space around the open fire, great place to connect at the end of the day. Extremely welcoming team, friendly and helpful. Lodge has drying room, bar is open in evening for fire side drinks. Felt like staying with a big group of friends. Highly recommend.
