This place is absolutely stunning. With comfortable furniture en incredible views all around the building. The owners and the staff are friendly and welcoming. They did everything they could for us, from washing our clothes when we came back from trekking to making one of our favorite breakfast: milk rice. You get a big and luxurious room. Although the place is up in the hills, it's just a quick 10 minute tuktuk drive or a nice 25 minute walk down to town. We totally loved it here!

Gorgeous property, so clean , the most comfortable beds. Stunning location at the top of a mountain. Owner could not have been more attentive and was on hand with any query we had. Gave us a lift to town, nothing was too much trouble.

The house was on a hill and the view was good. Quiet with birds singing. The room and bathroom were very good. The host was fantastic. He gave us a free ride to the train station at 7.30am. I'll stay there again in the future.

This hotel is in a fabulous location, right on the banks of the lake in central Kandy. The staff were amazing and had a wonderful welcome for us, even though we arrived at midnight. They were very accommodating and friendly throughout our stay. The hotel is very unique and was converted from a stately home in recent times. We booked the 2-bedroom family room (#101/102) which was even more unique. The rooms are connected by a semi-enclosed walkway which gives access to the wonderful sounds of nature but is completely private. One of the rooms also has a small enclosed outdoor terrace attached to its bathroom. The bedrooms were large and spacious with very comfortable bedding. This hotel is highly recommended.

    We had a lovely stay at Witherspoon Lodge, we were picked up by our hosts from the station and had fun trying to get up that infamous steep hill! (The hill is really not that bad to walk up) The room is set with a beautiful landscape which was lovely to wake up to every morning. Breakfast was lovely and we felt so welcome.
