Such warm and welcoming hosts! I stayed in a beautiful, cosy room with an amazing stone shower/bathroom. Felt like a home away from home with delicious food and I was very well looked after during my stay. I would highly recommend staying here (you will not be disappointed!)... I will certainly be back next time I'm in the area :)

Friendly welcome with a welcome drink. Clean and spacious rooms. I like the wooden style, feels natural. Walking distance to Mirissa Beach and restaurants as well as shops. Very central location. Would stay here again. ☺️

Great place . Top of the mountain .just walking distance from the beach (200m). My wife was doing yoga at the garden .it was really comfortable place . Private parking , Garden ,private bathroom and kitchen . Highly recommended 🥰🩵

Best value for money so far in Sri Lanka. Great location by the river. We saw some tree snakes, peacocks and chipmunks. Nice balcony to chill on with breakfast. Air con was perfect and adjustable. Nice towels.

our absolute favorite stay in sri lanka! we kept extending it because oh we loved it so much. 1. the place is ideally located between dickwella and hiriketiya. close to the main road but far enough to be quiet! (important for us) 2. the room is extremely clean and well-thought out. very beautifully decorated with so much love and attention to detail. we had everything needed and couldn’t ask for more really. having our own kitchen was a huge plus and you can also do your laundry here. 3. the host Dasitha is one of the nicest (if not the nicest) person we’ve ever met. he was so patient and humble and truly cared about our experience…! very welcoming and friendly. great communication too. made our stay so special. helped us a lot in all possible aspects of our travel. feeling very grateful we decided to stay there and meet him. 4. the space: there’s a quiet outdoor area with sunbeds. we loved it! 5. unbeatable value for the price.! we couldn’t wish for a better accommodation! can’t recommend enough and look forward to coming back. thank you so much Dasitha!

Everything! The garden, the bungalow with it’s private space outside to chill, the common areas where people got together to drink, eat or just chat… It’s also a 1 minute walk from the beach and literally 30 seconds from awesome coffe shops and restaurants. The hosting family is kind and will help you with anything you need. I had the chance to know more about them and how midigama has evolved in the past 40 years. It was really interesting and they are the sweetest people. Also, 2 great surfing spots just a few minutes walk from the bungalows. I will surely come back! Thanks for everything!

Planned on staying for a night at first and ended up staying for almost 3 weeks! Really clean and comfortable rooms with fan& AC, perfectly located, quiet area, and one minute from the beach. The hosts were the kindest and made me feel like home! Had homemade breakfast (everyday it was something else) every morning on the porch with a fruit platter, always delicious and healthy! Stayed alone and with a friend, also perfect for couples and anyone looking for an amazing homestay near Midigama& Ahangama.

We had a wonderful stay and felt truly welcomed by the lovely family at Hazeloft. The breakfast was delicious, and the home-cooked dinners were absolutely amazing, full of local flavors and made with care. Such a peaceful place with genuine hospitality; we would definitely love to come back!
