We had an amazing stay! The location, the owners and the room itself were great. We had the Sri Lankan breakfast in the morning and loved it. Also the owners were really helpful. They made sure that not only the place where you stayed was great, but also that you got to visit every place where you wanted to go.

If you want to stay 1 night 🌙, best place. If you want to save money 💰, best place. If you want to be closer to nature🌿 best place. Lovely family with hospitality! Delicious breakfast in the morning and tea 🍵.

Our stay at Ayona Misty Hills was truly unforgettable! Nestled in the hills with breathtaking views of tea estates and vegetable farms, this place offers the perfect blend of nature, comfort, and convenience. 🌄 Scenic Beauty & Tranquility – Waking up to panoramic hill views and enjoying a leisurely walk through the tea estates in the crisp, cool air was the highlight of our stay. 🏡 Cozy & Homely Stay – The accommodation felt just like home, complete with a equipped kitchen for added convenience. Everything was clean and well-maintained, making the stay super comfortable. 📍 Perfect Location – Though surrounded by nature, it’s still close to the city, making it easy to access essentials while enjoying a peaceful retreat. 🤝 Friendly & Safe Neighborhood – The hospitality was warm and welcoming, and the area felt safe throughout our stay. 🍽️ Great Dining Flexibility – Having the option to pre-order food for dinner & breakfast was a huge plus, ensuring we could enjoy delicious meals without any hassle. 💰 Value for Money – Given the location, comfort, and experience, it’s definitely worth every penny! The location within the tea plantations is perfect with a breathtaking view down to the plains. The staff is friendly and helpful and the food is great. Rooms are spacious and very clean with a wonderful view from the bed. The owners organise a Tuk-Tuk for a whole day for a reasonable price. We started our trip to Horton Plains very early (5:45) and were provided with breakfast boxes. The owner takes ecology protection seriously, no plastic bottles or plastic bags are being provided.

Our room was huge and very clean. Loved the wood flooring and the comfortable beds (since the property is located on the hill, in a quiet place, you can have the best night sleep here). The view from the room is no nice, overlooking the lake. The small garden is absolutely beautiful, with plenty of flowers and plants all around. But what makes this place special is Bandara (the Manager) and his entire staff. He goes above and beyond for the guests to feel welcomed. The breakfast he prepares is to die for, so rich, tasty and delicious. He helped us find a transfer when leaving to Ella and helped us getting a tuk-tuk to town. He is genuinely a nice person and easy to talk to, you can see he does everything from the heart. We really appreciate the care and respect he and his staff have for their guests.
