The accommodation is a bit off the beaten path, but that’s part of its charm. It’s a special experience to stay in a tropical environment surrounded by trees, with monkeys and peacocks roaming around the property. Everything is lovingly furnished, and the rooms are new. The host was very helpful and even organized a safari for us, with the guide picking us up directly from the accommodation. After the safari, there was a big breakfast waiting for us, and the host stayed up late just to make sure we were taken care of. We would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again if we're in the area.

Really nice stay with a lovley family. Breakfast was fantastic and included in the price. Dinner was also amazing 👏🏼 Very comfortable room with ac and warm water. We loved the stay and they arranged our safari for a very honest and good price! Hope they get a lot of nice tourists because they deserve it! Allot of respect for their work 🙏🏻

Staying with Sujee was a delightful experience ! We had the chance to stay in the middle of the jungle between trees and a river flowing by. The room was super clean and comfortable and Sujee’s wife prepared the best Sri lankan diner for us. A true peaceful peace of heaven. We also did a Safari with Sujee who know his Udawalawe park by heart and can guide you the best to see the most of animals !

This place is INCREDIBLE!! Kasun the owner is one of the nicest guys ever - so kind, helpful and goes above and beyond to assist in every need. Watermelon on arrival, fresh coconut on departure, organised safari, prepared yummy breakfast included in the price, relaxed check out timing....the list goes on! The villa was stunning, way better than the pictures. The garden is stunning and my son loved running around discovering all the plants, wildlife and fruits. Nature Glow Cottage has undoubtedly been the best stay we've had in the past four months of travelling around Asia. Within the first 30 minutes of our arrival, we were greeted with warm smiles, a refreshing and delicious juice, and the delightful surprise of spotting various animals, including monkeys, an owl, a mongoose, and squirrels. The kindness, the smiles, the hospitality, the accommodation, swimming with our host in the river at the back of the property and exploring their gardens, seeing different plants and fruit trees—it was incredible. - The room was clean, well equipped with comfortable beds, AC was great as well as the mosquito net. Hot water was also a plus! - Highly recommend having breakfast and dinner. The hosts are exceptional cooks and overindulge you with true Sri lankan food. You can also go in the kitchen and see how food is made (unfortunately, we ran out of time) - The porch area is so tranquil in the middle of a little jungle with comfy seating and even a small added touch of an animal book so you can read through for your Safari and after spotting animals in front of your room. - Hosts can also organise safaris for you at a reasonable cost. We only wish we could have spent more time here.

We had a relaxing two days in nature at the homespun Glimra eco lodge on our way to Uda Walawe safari park. It was great to meet and chat to our helpful and attentive hosts Roshani and Nishanka, who are at the beginning of their journey making a larger lodging ground, and it was special to stay in their first house made by Nishanka himself. We enjoyed our afternoon canoe ride by a local fisherman, and spotting birds and animals by the lake
