Lodges in Vilanculos

I cant thank the owners enough they went out of their way to make our stay comfortable.

I had originally booked a bungalow, but due to it being the low season the hotel manager kindly upgraded me to one of the beachfront villas. The villa offeres your a fantastic view and you wake up with the sun rising over the Indian Ocean. The bed was super comfortable, the staff kind, friendly, helpful, and easy to talk to. The common lounge area has a well stocked bar and cozy seating arrangements and hammocks. Nearby you can catch dhow cruises with local fishermen.

We absolutely loved our stay at Lemon Lodge. The property boasts an expansive terrain with separate bungalows, ensuring you won't be kept awake by snoring or late-night chatter from neighbors behind the walls. Bed was comfortable and had a mosquitos net. While we didn't take advantage of the pool, it was available on the premises. Plus, the beach was right in front of the lodge. The hosts, Elsa and her husband a charming Portuguese couple who relocated to Mozambique many years ago, are incredibly caring and ready to assist with your every need. Communication was a breeze and delightful. The staff was nothing short of amazing, always offering a warm welcome and going above and beyond. They even helped us organise a Bazaruto Island tour, so we didn't have to worry about a thing. We dined at the lodge every evening, and the seafood was not only delicious but also reasonably priced.

We cannot Thank more Samara Lodge, we had the absolute best experience and wouldnt go elsewhere if we go back to Vilankulos. Everything was just perfect!

Staff are so accommodating and friendly! Andrisa made sure we were comfortable and our stay here was relaxing and enjoyable. The property itself is just wow 😮 The layout of the house was perfect allowing privacy for all guests, with a lovely open plan living space. Location to the beach was also superb, with the house having its o n private pool for guests to enjoy and have their own privacy.
