The people working in Agaseke were so helpful during the protests that are currently going on in Panama. They took my safety very seriously and liaised with my following hostel to ensure that I got there safely. Aside from that, the hostel was a lovely relaxing place to stay during a week where some down time was very much appreciated. The guests all has the opportunity to meet at the communal dinner table in the kitchen but also felt welcome to do their own thing. (Also some of the best knives in the kitchen that I’ve experienced in any of the hostels I’ve stayed in during me travels.) Couldn’t recommend more.

Rose is an excellent host and her children were adorably helpful too. She is so friendly and warm, even when I showed up at 9:30 in the morning to make sure I was at the right place. A nice quiet location close to everything in Boquete. Highly recommend.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Risco de Hugo. The cabin was spotlessly clean, it had everything we needed. Very nice and helpful owner!

    I really liked my stay in Agaseke lodge. It was very comfy and the Location was great! Also the kitchen was very nice and well equipped. During my stay in Agaseke I really felt like home and whenever I had questions about activities and the situation in Panama (right now there are heavy protests in Panama) someone would help me out. So thanks for this nice stay!
