Judith, Josue and their beautiful boy Thiago were absolutely amazing!!!! This was the best stay after a huge bus ride. We were so relaxed watching the sunset cuddled up with a blanket. We were provided with the most incredible food - especially the fried trout and soup Judith prepared. Josue took us on a tour around Uros and also took my partner fishing!!! It was just so great. We didn’t want to leave. We also jumped in the lake which was beautiful and clear. A unique and special stay we will remember forever.

Raul and Ceila were great hosts and explained a lot about the local culture. The room had an awesome view with a porch right next to the water. We were not cold in the night because Raul provided us with hot water bottles for under the blankets. There was also a gas heater available. We really enjoyed our stay and it is a great place to relax a bit.

This is an amazing place. Hosts are wonderful human beings. The view is spectacular. The peace and connection with nature is a total magical adventure. As a world traveler, this became one of my favorite spots from the beginning. No WiFi for me is a plus, as well as the dry bathroom. If you love peace and quiet in nature, this is definitely a place to visit.

The unique location ( on a floating bed of reeds in the middle of Lake Titicaca !!), and the amazing and genuine friendliness, and helpfulness of our hosts , husband and wife , Wilson, Lizabeth . And a special thanks to Lizabeth for arranging 2 amazing tours, at very short notice and in such a tight timeframe. and for Wilson taking us straightaway before check-in by speed boat to catch up with our tour ! Our own private island on Titicaca. The host family only has one of these for rental, so you have their full attention. They offer a tour of the floating islands for 30 soles which I recommend instead of taking these group tours. The island also has a kayak, the price is included and breakfast was surprisingly rich in options!

Staying at Amalia Titicaca Lodge with Juan and his wonderful family was one of the highlights of our entire trip to Peru. This is not just a place to stay—it’s a truly unforgettable experience that you simply should not miss. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and kindness. Juan and his family took care of us as if we were their own. When we struggled with the altitude on our first day, they immediately made us feel comfortable, preparing special teas and even giving us hot water bottles for the night. The altitude sickness disappeared overnight, thanks to their care! Juan took us out on a fantastic boat tour of Lake Titicaca, sharing his knowledge and the beauty of the lake with us. In the evening, he cooked us an incredible supper—fresh and delicious. Breakfast the next morning was the same. Everything about our stay was authentic, peaceful, and filled with small, thoughtful touches. But what truly sets this place apart is Juan’s generosity and dedication. Halfway to Cusco, I realized I had left my laptop behind at the lodge—a total panic moment! Juan went above and beyond to make sure I got it back before leaving Cusco, personally organizing for it to be delivered by bus so I wouldn’t have to pay $200 for a private shuttle. I am eternally grateful for his kindness and effort! If you’re looking for a genuine, unforgettable experience on Lake Titicaca with hosts who treat you like family, do not hesitate—book a stay at Amalia Titicaca Lodge. You will be so glad you did.     We had a great time at the lodge. We enjoyed the food and the tour of the lake. The view of the lake through the glas windows is stunning. Compared to other lodges this one has its own island and is located further away from the village.

    Incredible location and located a bit further out than other similar lodges on the Uros islands so it was very peaceful. The scenery is just stunning. Our room was of an excellent standard with a very comfy king size bed. We also enjoyed sitting out on our porch, watching the sunset was really special. Eduardo and family were so helpful and friendly and the food provided was delicious. We stayed only one night but would recommend two nights if you have time.

    Great location! The room was not expensive compared to other lodges nearby. The hot water bottles were helpful to keep our bed warm the whole night, amazingly till the morning. The people were very friendly and helpful.

    Very immersive and wonderful experience. Uros lodges are located far from touristic rush of Puno and we had a great opportunity to see the daily life of Miguel and his family - they were all very nice, friendly and very helpful. Also, they provided us with great food, took us fishing, gave us sorojchi pills when we did not feel great because of high altitude and much much more. Highly recommend to everyone!

    A unique experience to sleep on a floating island. The location is stunning, probably one of the best in the Uros for sunset. Cesar and his family are extremely welcoming hosts, keen to share as much about the local culture while also making sure you enjoy your privacy. The food, hospitality and help finding our way there and onwards after leaving have made it our favourite experience in Peru so far. This lodge sits on its own, far from any neighbouring lodges, and this has a truly breathtaking effect. We had a really peaceful couple nights.

    our stay with Juan and Amalia was easily a highlight of our trip to Peru - stunning lodges on titicaca lake - complete tranquility and privacy as there is only one other lodge - hot water, heaters and hot water bottles - personal rooftop conservatory to watch the stars - delicious food cooked for you - time spent on the lake with Juan describing the history and how the floating houses are made just such an incredible experience! we did not want to leave!
