The number one thing I loved was Peter Obbo. This man was our lifeline on the island. We arrived in monsoon rain and this man came out to greet us and show us to our room. He cooked us up some of the best meals I’ve ever eaten. He picked us fresh fruit from the garden, showed us around the island and had the best playlist playing the entire time we were by the pool. Peter even special ordered us food/drinks from the mainland when items were missing on the island. No doubt, the best part. He ran the island.

Anna Maria is a very kind and attentive host, who helped us with booking transport and some activities. The location is so beautiful and peaceful, I would definitely recommend staying at Holland Park to anyone who wants to rest and escape the big city!

I had the bungalow with the swimming pool and bath. It was gorgeous. I watched monkeys playing in the trees. The staff were exceptional! All very welcoming, and as a female solo traveler they made me feel safe and came and chatted to me. Highly recommend this place to everyone! The food was also incredible and very tasty! I will definitely be back in the future!
