AustraliaLocation was wonderful part of town, right in view of the river. There is a road between accommodation and river but it is quiet street, safe and no traffic noise. Kern was much nicer town than we had expected. Everything was as described, one of the offered pillows was very hard but the other was fine.

The people was extremely nice and warm at all times.

And the support we've received from the staff was amazing: the help with the check-in, yes; but also we accidentally left some of our stuff in the lodge and they shipped it to us by international mail very quickly. Great at communicating, prepped good breakfast for us and was always available when we needed something - Thank you! The location is exquisite and quiet indeed - the name suits the lodge. Kern river flows right behind, you can see it rushing right from the room, and the sound of it too if you listen closely. Nature lovers can spend hours just gazing at it.
