Dream location with super friendly and motivated staff. Rooms are a blast. Game drives were outstanding and Philipp as Ranger is top. Beautyful nature and lots of animals. You couldn't ask for more. Great time at a wonderful place We had a fantastic time at the lodge. It was like coming home to friends. There was a very warm welcome and a great hospitality all the time. It was very relaxed as there wasn’t a determined schedule. The location is perfect, at the end of the road. You can watch the game either from the terrace of your room or from the main building coming to the waterhole. The underground hide is also great, unfortunately there was not enough water that game came to that waterhole. The rooms are also perfect with outside shower. In the evening we had fantastic braais sitting close to the fireplace. Baie lekker. Carlo is a great ranger. We had good spots and it was lovely how much time we could spent with the animals. He has a very good knowledge and you can feel his passion for the animals. We enjoyed being a while very close to an elephant herd and waiting patiently for lions until they come closer. It was not like ticking off a list, running from one animal to the other, it was really enjoying the nature. For the game drives we stayed only in the Black Rhino part of Pilanesberg, so it was not crowded as there are no day visitors. Wished to come back soon.
