We tubed down the river, pet the bunnies & donkeys & ate fruits & vegetables raised on the farm. The pictures of the rooms & common areas don’t give this justice. We went to the ruins & had a phenomenal guide (Gershwin) that made all the difference. I felt extremely safe & a part of something bigger than myself. Thank you so much for an experience I will never forget. I felt like part of your family. I already miss waking up to the sounds of the birds & monkeys in the jungle.

Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. Amazing place; genuine people, quality meals in a social setting, easy access to ATM Caves (you get in early). Can you ask for more as a traveler? Lower Dover property itself is also very interesting, a lot of history there, go and explore yourself!

Each charming bungalow and villa has a balcony with wonderful river views. The staff knows what you need even before you need it! Absolutely fantastic. This was one of our best experiences with truly professional and attentive staff. Property is gorgeous and does not feel crowded evenn at full capacity. The perfect place if you are looking for a quiet hideaway in the jungle.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Hidden Valley Inn -- unexpectedly, I stayed in a lodge, within 7300 acres of wilderness in the Mountain Pine Ridge, 1 hour away from San Ignacio. I was greeted like a special guest, stayed in a beautiful villa, minutes away from the grand lodge, and the pool. There are kilometers of hiking trails, 5 major waterfalls on the property. I did the Butterfly trail, a 30 minutes by car, and a 30 minutes hike. Splendid! When you arrive at the falls and it's emerald lagoon, in the middle of lush jungle, you think that these few moments “Oh Mon Dieu" There they were all for myself, known as the “jewel of the property", featured in several tourist brochures of Belize.
