The lodge’s amenities and its serene setting contributed to a feeling of exclusive privacy and comfort. For anyone visiting Rapa Nui, I cannot recommend Kona Koa Lodge enough. Mataveri International Airport is 5 km from the property, and the property offers a free airport shuttle service. I really enjoyed my stay in Rangi Moana. The staff was very friendly and helpful, transfer from and to the airport was great. Room was very clean, area is quiet and calm. If you need to buy some water, food etc. it's very close to the store. It's around 25 min. of walk to the city, but it's a nice walk, especially after a big meal 😄 By taxi around 5 min. I wish to stay there bit longer.

Tahai's archeologic ceremonial center is a 5-minute walk away and the downtown is just a 10-minute walk. Excellent hosts, always smiling, always ready to help. Went out of their way to make us feel at home. Came to the airport to pick us up and dropped us off. Drove us to the market and nearby restaurant and arranged tour guide. Extended check out time, provided extra towels, always answers any questions with a smile that never wavered. Kudos to the hosts! The location was great, easy walk to City center, spacious room and good kitchen.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. I love the effortless tranquility of the place, the wonderful drinks and freshly prepared meals, the lovely views, the proximity to the coast. It is rare to find such a unique hotel in such a great location. I will return again and again.
