Senora is 4 k’s from town and is genuinely surrounded by jungle. Puerto Viejo is busy so I was so glad to reach the serenity of Senora. Anastasia is a beautiful host and the breakfasts were delicious. The yoga room looked amazing, although we didn’t have a chance to do a class! This a wonderful place to decompress and recharge. We hired bikes from a nearby place and rode everywhere which was brilliant. I loved our stay here.

The site is phenomenal - we explored the grounds and loved the nature. The staff were amazing they went above and beyond. Cabin was beautiful and totally allowed disconnection from the world. Lovely breakfast - all fresh from the garden. We loved it.

We loved living in the jungle! The view from the bungalow was green and calming. The staff were warm and very helpful. Breakfast area lovely and food good. It was a nice sanctuary after a busy day. The bungalows are comfortable and well equipped as is the common kitchen area. The grounds are beautiful and full of wildlife. Very quiet and peaceful. The most special stay on our entire Costa Rica trip. The houses are built inside the stretch of a beautiful selva, with direct access to the pristine, unspoiled beach. We were surrounded by sounds and sightings of wildlife on our walks to and from the beach, and when enjoying our time at the house. The love, attention and effort that goes into the maintenance of this amazing place is truly incredible. Everything works perfectly, from showers to kitchen utilities and all other comforts. Marisol took great care of us and helped us to spot sloths, toucans and howler monkeys. One of our closest wildlife encounters on the trip also took place at Congo Bongo. Following Marisol’s recommendation, we had two dinners at the local restaurant Mista Cook, it was delicious. Muchas gracias, we will be back!

Playa Negra Guesthouse is located in Cahuita, right in front of the beach. All units feature a seating area. Some units have a terrace and/or balcony with pool or garden views. The owner was super friendly. The house is located in a beautiful garden, basically your own private nature reserve with sloths, birds, frogs, aguri and more.

Situated 5 km awayfrom Cahuita in the Limon Region and 18 km from Puerto Viejo, Passion Fruit Lodge boasts an outdoor pool and views of the tropical garden. Cocles is 20 km from the property. The entire property was magnificent, lush vgetation, expertly landscaped. The vegetation also gives each unit privacy. The hosts are delightful, plaeasant, informative and always eager to answer questions and make suggestions to enhance your vacation. The dwellings and property are spotless. Because the property is in the jungle, the sounds of nature are all around. It is easy to get to the national park in Cauhita. We rented bikes as our mode of transportation but the property is best enjoyed with a vehicle. The pool is magnificent, large and surrounded by natural vegetation.

Offering a year-round outdoor pool and tropical garden, La Rana De Cahuita is set 5 km away from the centre of Cahuita. Puerto Viejo is 18 km from the property. Pool is fantastic. Super host.

Finca Chica offers accommodation in Puerto Viejo. Cahuita is 16 km from the property. Free WiFi is featured and free private parking is available on site. Amazing staff and host! Special thanks to Aurelio the gardener who showed us around the beautiful garden and pointed out sloths, birds, frogs and turtles that live on the property. The facility it self is more than complete with everything that you wil need.
