Rainbow Valley Lodge is located located in Monteverde Costa Rica, in the mountains of Monteverde. It offers lush gardens and rooms with free WiFi and fantastic mountain views. The view, incredible to lie in bed and look out at the stunning views. The room was spacious, and the shower was great. Had everything you need and bliss lying in bed looking out.

Amazing place to stay. It's 20 minutes from town down narrow, steep, winding dirt roads, so make sure you have a car. Watch the video to understand the last road, which look like it goes nowhere. The place is at the end of that "road." Beautiful views from the dome. There's a decently equipped kitchenette, and oil and coffee are provided. Best place I ever stayed. And Carlos is so nice.

The cottage had air conditioning. The kitchen equipment was sufficient. The terrace was spacious. I very much appreciated the washing machine and dryer in the area. The location was good, everywhere is just a short walk, to the waterfall on foot. We enjoyed our stay very much, especially the garden charmed me with its richness. There are monkeys jumping here, although sometimes in the morning they disturbed with their shouting, it was also very nice to be in the center of nature.

We had a nice view of the mountains, which we enjoyed from our terrace with a hammock, and we cooked on the gas stove. It was so peaceful. My biggest fear was sleeping without air conditioning, but we slept well. The beds are comfortable, and the fan and fresh air were sufficient for good sleep.

This was exactly what I was looking for. Something deeper in the jungle yet close to Uvita and the coast. Just the peace and quiet and closeness to Nature I needed. And the cabin has no glass windows, just screens, so you can hear the music of the jungle very clearly. Nights were spectacular. I loved falling asleep to the symphony of the the surrounding wilderness and waking up to the sounds of roosters and howler monkeys (: The property has access to a river and mini waterfall which was very tranquil and serene. The drive to the cabin was a fun little adventure in itself and 4x4 is recommended. The hill that leads down to the cabin is ultra steep but you have the option to park atop the hill and walk down which is a short jaunt. The host, Wouter, was amazingly attentive, personable, and chill. He would always respond to my questions/ messages quickly. You could not ask for a better host. I can recommend Loft del Rio with total confidence and rate it a perfect 10. If you are looking to experience an immersive jungle experience that is also close to the coast, this is it.

We originally planned to stay at Jungle Living Tree Houses [1] for just one night, but the place is so magical that we immediately extended our stay to two nights. And we don’t regret it for a second! The accommodation is absolutely amazing. Spending a night in a tree house in the middle of the jungle is an unforgettable experience. Everything is clean, comfortable and blends perfectly with the surrounding nature. A big plus deserves the owner – he is incredibly helpful, friendly and was able to arrange all the activities and transfers for us to our complete satisfaction. Thanks to him, our stay was even more enjoyable and carefree. We highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for peace, adventure and great service in Monteverde. We will definitely be back!

Loved the location. It's in a beautiful small mountain town just outside of Monteverde. On a ranch! That was so fun. Breakfast provided was good. There is a fun and gorgeous mountain hike to complete on the property. Be sure to read the directions, unlike us! Lol. Great stay here.
