The food was incredible. We upgraded our room to include the Lodge Club and it was a smart move. Our flight was scheduled for 2 am and with the new upgrade we checked out at 4 pm, but we were able to utilize the service of the hotel and keep our belongings safe until our departure. I'll definitely book again this hotel in the future.
Affordable if you're on a budget. – Great location, smack dab in the middle of Tahrir square, a stone throw's away from the Egyptian Museum & Sadat metro station. – Guided tours of Cairo & Alexandria, safari trips to the desert, as well as Nile cruises can be booked through the hotel upon arrival. – Nile cruise is highly recommended, whether you're interested in the lushy green views around the Nile, the history of the ancient Egyptian civilization, or simply lounging in the pool on a sunny day.
This is a small, bed-and-breakfast lodging. King, the proprietor, is a wonderful human being. He arranged our airport transfers, camel ride at the pyramids, and a wonderful Egyptian dinner by his in-house chef. This authentic experience easily surpassed our resort stay in Sharm El-Sheikh. The view of the pyramids from the balcony is almost too good to be true.
